What is a letterform design?

A letterform design is a term used for graphic deisgn based around typography. Its often used to create patterns and other similar designs where the letter may be manipulated and even unrecognizable.

What was your job as the designer?

My job as the designer was to change and manipulate letters, numbers, and symbols in ways such that they cannot be recognized, as well as creatively exhibit symmetry, asymmetry, and radial symmetry, in addition to harmony, balance, and unity.

What were some of the challenges you faced during this project?

Some of the challenges I faced during this project would be creating a design that is not only creative and complex, yet also appealing to the eye.

Do you feel you successfully completed the project? Why or why not?

I feel that I successfully fulfilled the project requirements, creating a cohesive project, with imaginative designs.

If you can change something about the project what would it be and why?

One thing I would change some of the requirements. Indeed I would change the ones I felt I struggled with, yet I feel they could be replaced with ideas more creative.
